There are many fantastic societies for palaeontologists and geologists throughout the UK, the USA and the world, which it is a pleasure to recommend to you. Having an interest in palaeontology is great, but meeting people who share it is better. Of course, most of these organisations will feed your hunger for knowledge and suggest possible career routes to you.

You can expand your knowledge at home and at school too. In Britain and America, there are hundreds of books about fossils, which cover the basics and give you more detailed information about collecting.
